Thoughts on Abortion

Okay, I will admit, I too have read things about Bristol Palin's pregnancy and after reading score after score after score of disturbing posts that treat the topic of abortion with so little care I feel like I want to cry.  I am against abortion... I agree with you, actually. People act like there's a clause in the constitution that says "We have the right to have sex without risk of babies." But biologically, that's just not possible. We can warp and twist our hormones and guts all to hell, but nature will prevail, whether one believes in God or not.

Gunnar, ever the optimist, likes to think that in a hundred years or so, future generations will look back on this and feel terrible about such a horrible breech of human rights, like we look back at slavery and think "How on Earth could anyone think that was ok?"

Also, I just want to say, that I feel a calling to have children, and I want to have kids with all my heart, with all my soul. I love reading your "Kate the Great" blog--it always makes me smile! (And sometimes cry--I can't imagine raising kids without Gunnar, even for just a few months!)

Awww, I am really glad you like reading my blog. I just can't imagine that anyone besides Benjamin would find it fun to read. I am sure you will be a way super cool mom when your day comes! (and then you will have to blog about it for the rest of us to read!)
