I'm trying to figure out what it must be like for you, being an Obama voter amongst the LDS community. All I can say is, you rule. (And I still have your Hannah Montana gummy cocks. :-)
It's funny you'd say that, because I had another friend say almost the exact same thing the other day.
My foster mom and both of my foster sisters voted for Obama as well, so there must be some small band of rebels out there.
Although, I have to say my Foster mom told me the WORST story the other day about what the lady sitting next to her at church said.
To set the scene: There is a woman standing at the pulpit delivering a talk. My mom is sitting with a woman she considered a friend. The 'friend' leans over to my mom and says this about the woman at the pulpit.
"Look at her up there; acting all spiritual, when she voted for Obama."
My mom turned looked at her in utter shock for a moment, and then when she found the words to speak, simply said, "So did I." and then turned back to listen to the woman speaking. Can you believe it?!
I guess I take heart in knowing that the Senate majority leader is both an amazing Democrat as well as an amazing Mormon man.
