what the fuck. tell me if i am being unreasonable here. i was talking to phil earlier. i was upset, because i was offered a FREE trip to texas by my school, to go to a nursing student convention. it would involve missing a week of classes which i dont feel like i can do. so i turned the trip down

my thoughts exactly. i'm 21, phil's 23 and i want us to be able to go out and have fun together, i feel like we'd be babysitting his brother.

Definitely. It's one thing to let the younger brother come out to dinner with you or something when you're in town, but bringing him along on vacation is just a bit much.

Ditto the above... if you were bringing family members along as well that would be one thing, but given as the original plan was just you, then just you and him, its not unreasonable at all to want to make it a "couple" vacation.

Phil needs to realize that spending some alone time with his girl is more important than bringing bro along and you just KNOW how that's gonna go.. the manly bonding and you sitting there waiting.. NOT fun! you have every right to stand your ground on this and him calling you a selfish bitch isn't making HIM look any better..
