Yeah; that's what I assumed-- but the thing is, he also said something about being horribly late, due to the traffic being backed the heck up all over everywhere (this is what happens when the downtown is on a peninsula and closing the highway means everybody is funneling over two kind of small bridges, and this bus route has to go over both of them). So, I dunno.

In conclusion, there is a reason why last night's dinner involved chocolate chip cookies.
