Strawberries, cherries, and an angel's kiss in Spring...

For quite a while now, lurking in the back of the freezer, waiting to be unleashed, we have had all the strawberries. Well, all the strawberries minus some that were made into a not-entirely-successful strawberry sauce to eat with a Vanilla Dutch Baby.

It was excellent-- I did bake it for about five minutes less, and I think I used a little bit less sugar (basically, I mixed a half-cup of the sugar with the strawberries first thing, and then the sugar ran out a little bit shy of another cup and a half).

I would also assume that other nuts could be subbed in, frankly-- I've seen versions with almonds or with walnuts. Oh, and I toasted the nuts very briefly in the oven.
