Rurouni Redux

Having recently watched (and been largely baffled by) the "New Kyoto Arc," I was a little trepidatious about the two-volume "Rurouni Kenshin: Restoration" manga that Watsuki did kind of in conjunction with the first live action movie.

JaneDrew, you live! I know I read this, but I've largely forgotten the changes they made. All I really remember was that I was not impressed. In the end, I agree with the thought that Kenshin's story is one that needs a long time to tell properly.

Hi! Yes! Still around, although last year was EXTREMELY CHAOTIC (mostly in good ways, but, wow, yeah). Goal for this year is getting back to LJ and more fandomish things.

Really need to get act together and do a "wow, look at this past year, wow" post at some point soon....
