actually, maybe you can help me. i'm looking for a curry recipe that appeared in a 2003 issue (would have been in the first half of the year). would you be able to find that and post it here? i have been searching for years. (sad!) i would be most grateful!!!

it was in march 2003, with beyonce on the cover.
kool-thing curry. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1 shallot, chopped 4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped 1 small chunk of ginger, finely chopped 2 or more fresh red chillies, seeded and finely chopped 4 heaping tablespoons of Madras curry powder 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 cup of water 2 each, chicken legs and breasts 4 potatoes peeled and diced 2 cans of coconut milk
to make the paste: heat the oil in a large wok; add the shallot and garlic and cook until they're soft and brown. add ginger, chillies, curry powder, salt, and water, and turn off the heat. stir ingredients into a hunk of paste. set aside.
saute chicken for 20 minutes. add potatoes, coconut milk, and paste. when it starts to boil, turn the heat down. simmer for another 30 minutes, then let the scarfing begin.
I am interested in purchasing the Julia Stiles issue of Jane magazine (2004). My MAIN interest is that there is art work of a girl sun bathing in a hammock, with sparkly stars above her. I believe this image is within this specific Jane magazine, and if so please do email me at mypowertool@yahoo.com. I will gladly take this off of your hands. Thanks :)
i'm very interested .. i miss jane, i don't have enough old issues to fulfill my empty heart haha ... if you still have any of the above issues .. i want: jan/feb 2002 june/july 2004 october 2004 feb 2005 april 2005
