Sometimes you just need a day off. And high school is a good time to learn that, because in college you will miss class sometimes, and you need to learn not to feel guilty about it. I give you full clearance for a day off.

YAY! Sadly enough, any kind of validation works to make me feel better.

I may not NEED a day off, but I'm going to take one.

And enjoy it, dammit!

I am taking a day off tomorrow, too! Yay!!!!

Mostly, that is because I have no tests scheduled for tomorrow, but I will sleep in a little and do a ton of studying and stuff. RIght now, I'm going to do some studying, because then I will not feel so guilty about not doing any schoolwork since Friday at noon.

Yeah. Definitely don't feel guilty. I wish I'd stayed home more in high school. It's so nice. I still haven't gotten over the guilt of skipping class in college (mostly it's that $42,000 thing) but you should enjoy it while you can.

I'm sorry to be like every adult/teacher ever in your life right now, but where are you applying?

It's fine now that I actually know the answer.

Carleton, Macalester, Vassar, Cornell, Grinnell, Northwestern and Yale (my "just for fun" application).
