Well, long story short, I got myself transferred to a site that will allow me to be more Janelike. Instead of just having one age group and doing EW curriculum plus poetry, I will be The Poetry Lady for the entire program, rotating each day between the three age groups. Yesterday I cried so long and hard I thought I would dissolve. Tuesday night I did a gig that actual nobody came to. I had a student going around telling people he wasn't safe with me because "white people lie." I have a broken tooth waiting for extraction, and it wakes me up two or three times a night.
