Finally made the baroque fresh water pearl/hematite necklace I've been imagining. I wanted it to keep a rounded shape so strung it on silver wire instead of silk. I used up some of the smaller pearls I got at christmas. It turned out pretty well although I'm far from happy with the picture. The strand on the left was a gift from Little Guy. He

I really ought to take some photos of some of this stuff I've made. And maybe we should get together and have a beading evening sometime, and do some show and tell!

That would be great. Maybe we could do some bead swapping too. Fun. Do you have a better place to work than I do? I commandeer half our our dining table so only two can eat. Mercury forgets that he can't play and he manages to spill things. I lost about a half a strand of 3 mm hematite beads last night. They bounced into oblivion on our tile floor.

Hope you feel better soon. Glad it isn't strep. There are drugs for that but it does take forever to get over it.
