Catching up! ?

There was Thanksgiving. We celebrated on Wednesday with my nephew Doug and his daughter Hannah who is 10. They were visiting from Montana. First of all, I love the photos! They add to the post quite nicely :)

It sounds like you guys had a great Thanksgiving. I didn't know the new museum has a wheel. We haven't been in there yet. We may have to at some point.

Good luck keeping warm!

Careful with the wheel. It seems to make people seasick watching it. Otherwise, the museum is awesome.

Did you ever get to the Children's museum? Lydia would love it, I'm sure.

Yes, we went over Labor Day weekend. It was rather exciting! Lyd enjoyed trying to use the water to make the ball go up the chute. We had some ...interesting pictures of things she did there. My camera doesn't seem to want to export photos, though, so we don't have access to most of them :(

Catching up??? there is no catching up!

(Maybe I spent too long sorting today.)

Man, that ultimate essence of chocolate reminds me of how much more of a baker you are than I am. I just do what it says on the card! well, mostly.

Well, both chocolate options were listed in the recipe. I just decided to do both. It was a good idea.

I wonder if I'm in a rut re: cooking. Somehow it seems that everything I make starts with chopping an onion and cooking it in butter or oil.

I need to make turkey soup today. Oh must get to the grocery store for exotic ingredients. Maybe I will make turkey potato/leek soup.

Sorry I've been so out of sight! I have a dream of perhaps getting a party together in January or so although that depends on lots of things, especially if I get hired. I've been hired in January before. It's possible.
