I look back on my last entry, posted in October, mostly written in August. Lots of dark stuff, Mom not doing well, Dad dying. 2012 was not the best year. This one didn't start so well either but we are surviving. We are doing quite well in fact ( Read more... )

Indeed we do too, but on the other hand, life is going better! I was planning to get to that eventually but had to stop and get some work done! Funny thing. it's a very slow day, yet I'm managing to get a lot of stuff done that will help in the future, like organizing things and cleaning the desk, etc. Same sort of things I've been doing at home lately.

Please give Jim my sympathy, and I am glad he is now healing and can do everything he needs to.

Wow, I had no idea. Thanks for writing this, and please give my best to Jim. He's a pretty resilient guy, when push comes to shove.

Thanks guys for your kind words. I'm never really sure that anyone reads my posts and that's nice to see as well. I hope to write something more happy soon as well as more about this month.
