So apparently you can't install .exe files on a Mac. Who knew? Besides everyone else on the internet, I mean. I don't really want to install Windows just so I can switch back and forth between operating systems, because half the reason I bought a Mac in the first place was so I wouldn't have to deal with Windows anymore, but we'll see how I feel

It's really annoying, though; I have the license for the official Windows version of Adobe CS5 Design Premium, and a part of me feels like you should be able to install it on either Windows or a Mac, especially if you own both (which I hope to do so in the future, though I'm not a fan of Apple aside from my stupidly gorgeous iPhone). Digital "ownership" is just such a contentious thing.
Aaaand suddenly Windows is the weirdest word I've ever seen.

What non-Photoshop programs have you tried? I know a lot of people like OpenCanvas and Sai, but I have no idea how much those cost or if they'll even run on my laptop. It would be nice to have Illustrator and Acrobat, though (especially Acrobat -- I used that one a lot), so maybe it would be worth splurging for the whole suite. I don't know, though. It's just so expensive!
One of the major drawcards of having a Mac is NOT RUNNING WINDOWS.
HAHAHAH, YES. My last laptop ran Vista, and the one before it ran Windows ME. I am SO EXCITED to be working on a Mac OS, you have no idea. XD
