Oh, hey! I'm so sorry I missed you messaging me on Steam! I wasn't even around at the time, I think I have it set up to log me on when I restart my computer. Sorry!
As for the 'Meet the Pyro'...well, I'm glad that they didn't confirm his/her gender (as far as I heard). I can go on pretending that Pyro's actually female so the game isn't a total sausage fest. Other than that...yeah, kind of creepy.
It went to reveal a whole hell of a lot about the Pyro, while still leaving the flames of speculation burning. Pardon the pun.
Every time you've ever seen a character seem possessed when they picked up a weapon, or were put into a specific situation? That's the Pyro, here.
Gotta remember, flamethrower troops are a special sort... There's a reason they're so feared, after all. The video does a great job of showing how messed up the Pyro has to be.
I see your point, it's just... So far TF2 has always been messed up in a funny way (like Soldier ranting at the heads about Noah's Sun Tzu's Ark), personally I'm not comfortable with it going deeper into the creepy hole.
YMMV, of course, the world is fun because different people like different things ;P
See, I'm approaching it from the other way. Funny in a messed up way, in other words. (And mind you, I'm not saying you're WRONG. Just that the approach is different

To be honest, I didn't find any of that stuff horrifying imagery in the least. Yeah, sure, people are killed... But here is the thing, those people are killed while they fight the protagonist of the video. They are all action scenes, all battles, with the protagonist prevailing over his foes.
In the Pyro video? S/he is hunting down and murdering terrified people who are not even fighting back, just trying to run away and screaming for help. It's not a battle, it's a slaughter. And s/he is compleyebly unaware of it. S/he locks a screaming man in a shed to burn him to death slowly while believing that they are playing peekaboo.
This is why, to me, the Pyro video is MUCH creepier than all the others >_

Personally, I'm now more convinced than ever that Pyro is a woman.

That, plus the "in a young girl's heart" song, are proof enough as far as I'm concerned :P
I'm hoping the update isn't over yet. There is a new comic, but it's only two pages long. I keep hoping that they'll add more pages.

Click on the can in the borrom right corner. BLU Soldier and RED Spy as roommates would be absolutely hilarious!
