well i thought about it...but it was an escalator full of people...so had i pushed her it would have created a domino effect and then i just would have felt bad, cause what if one of the people that fell was someone about to step on to the moving stair and then fell because of me, and then was sucked up into the moving part with the knife-like edges ... then i would have just felt bad, ya know...and plus I would have had no where to run.......but it did cross my mind!

well you have to make it look like an accident of course, the hard part is BELIEVING that it was an accident when you know full-well that it isn't =P
