Best books of 2007

I'm just counting books that I read for the first time this year . . . which is too bad. I had some excellent re-reads this year, including In Cold Blood, American Psycho, The Golden Compass, and The Things They Carried. Anyway, here is the list. Oh man, if you think reading David Sedaris is funny, you should listen to him read. They are some of the only audiobooks I own, but MAN they are spectacular.

The muse from high school met David Sedaris this year (well, last year) and I think she wants to make dirty love with him. She asked him what authors she should read, and Sedaris said Eudora Welty. So guess who she sent The Collected Stories of Eudora Welty to? It is post worthy, to be sure...

i read both of those david sedaris books plus naked, they were good but i only laughed like once -- my one friend was like "i laughed out loud at every story!!!!!!!!" and i was like, uhh no

haha i think i still have ur last years best book list printed out SOMEWHERE in this horridly cluttered room
