Hmm, well...Disaronno is Amaretto...but that's still too long...what about just Retto?

I actually brought up both of those names and both were rejected. If only you and I were adopting a dog together!

OK, so what if you took a little inspiration from the amaretto ingredients or word history...like it's made from drupe fruits (like peaches) and almonds to sweeten. Also, the name means a little bitter love...so what if you named her Amare?

Oooohhhhhh! What a SWEET BABY!

Names names names... Live with her a while and a name will come to you and it will stick. If I think of anything that I think she "looks like", I'll tell you.

You are right though, Disaronno is too something... Not fitting...

I just can't imagine saying "Disaronno" a bunch of times a day and I don't want her to be confused by us shortening it.

Yay! I expect lots of puppy updates when she comes home - it will fill my puppy void now that I am back at school.

my cat's name is gertrude, which i love. and i also love margot. basically, any name that's more suited to an 88 year old woman is adorable on pets (and babies!)
