Today is my husband's 40th birthday. I took the day off work (I usually work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) but he doesn't really want to do anything but play computer games from the 1980s

It IS you! I knew that someday you would post something... I hope the trend continues. Live Journal is sorta losing its spirit due to the Facebook/Twitter explosion (in my opinion) but I think it's always a place where one can truly connect with others.

You can't really get to know somebody on Twitter (at least in my experience) and Facebook is for people that you ALREADY know.
