Shutting Down

Nov 04, 2008 17:08

Ok, peeps. So, the ol' LJ just isn't so active anymore. I just went to copy my recent WP posts over, and realised that I've made 19 posts since I last copied them over. So, unless someone has an easier way of getting them to cross-post and sends it to me, presume that this blog is no longer active.

Instead, go to my fancy dancy WP blog. http://Read more... )

Hey honey, I use this plugin:-

http://code.google.com/p/ljxp/

I'm not sure how plugins work on wordpress hosted blogs but let me know what you need and I'll get it, if possible. This plugin will automatically crosspost whenever you do a wp post.

Thanks sweetie. It won't work with the WP-hosted blogs, but I might change to a completely new format. I just need to decide on a name... TEaM is getting a little... well, it's a bit bleh.

oh **pah** there's heaps of ways! You're just not trying :-)
Like realeuphoria said, there's heaps of WP plugins to cross-post.

Or, you could be extra geeky like me, and write your own script. I wanted comments synchronised too, in threaded format, so I wrote something in PHP to do the job with my wordpress install :p

At the moment I only post to LiveJournal, and the script polls LJ and ganks down all the info and posts it on http://www.volacious.net.au :-)

I was mostly just looking for a reason to stop LJ'ing. I got bored with it :P WP is far less restrictive.

But, you know, if you want to set it up for me. I might be a geeky programmer, but I'm not THAT geeky :P

And we will do whatever it takes to keep you in LJ. It's nice to have you all there. Gus, please help lol. If that doesn't cut it I will happily host your blog. We are not giving up
