I'm glad you got safely home before the storm hit. Turns out that the storm mostly held off in Ellington until after 4, so we probably could have gone a little later, but everyone's safety, and safely getting home, was really the first concern! Many of us went to Denny's for lunch, and then the majority went to Darlene's to listen to the Dance Band practice and play pool and pingpong... and SLEEP! The mud was lovely at Destinny's yesterday (I mean that, I love mud!), and we got some good work done. Remember, this weekend is First Dress, so you will be in Hebron on Sunday, too!! Hard to believe we are so close to going up!
Yes, tornado warnings are not particularly unusual in Putnam. We've all really gotten to the point where we just take them in stride. Remind me to tell you the story of the one we watched at the Lake... and then promptly went out to see Twister! Welcome to our crazy world!
