The snow is falling down rather gently right now - so it's kind of nice. But the weather channel warns us of an oncoming "winter storm" which should bring 8 to 11 inches of snow and lots of ice and cold weather to go with it. The conference that I'm attending before classes doesn't start until Wednesday. I arrived here in Chicago about 1:30 Central Time. After a long wait for my luggage, I lugged (is that why it's called luggage?) it out to the Taxi Stand and got a cab.
