NOW I CAN'T CONCENTRATE ON STUDYING FOR MY MARKETING FINAL TOMORROW BECAUSE I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THE MOVIE. I'M ALSO HERE UPDATING AND SPIDER-MAN IS ON HBO. UGH. I WON'T KID MYSELF. oh girl that sucks! well, you did get free tickets to see it again right? anyway, i haven't seen it yet. R dislikes the theaters. guess i have to wait til it goes out on video =(. must've been that good thouhg if you couldn't stop thinking about it!

it's alright. my homegirl got us in for free because she's manager at the theater. i'm going to go see it again this sunday anyway.

about the cam. i'm running it on win XP professional and it works. i'll look for the intel link where i had to download some stuff to get it running on win xp and i'll get back to you.

mannn it wouldn't let me reply to your comment arggghhh! anyhow, thanks for replying girl. actually, i finally got it working woohoo! picture quality is wonderful! i mean i was in awe...it's awesome mannn! i love it i love it! thanks for suggesting it. now how do you get that lighting effect like yours does? maybe it's just you! you're just soooo pretty like that eh! anyhow, take care and study hard. i know you'll ace those tests!

Coolness! I’m glad it’s set up and ready to go. Now for the **ahem** secret…..I mean settings. =P

Right click on the snapshot window and go to “Adjust video”
1) Exposure tab - choose “Manual Exposure Control”. I have both “Gain” and “Exposure Time” almost to the max.
2) Image tab - choose “Manual White Balance”. Just play around with it. I have “image Sharpness” at maximum.
3) Color tab - set to lots of saturation. Keep Hue in the center. The rest just play around with it. You get the idea.

One more thing, the lighting in my room is a fluorescent yellowish and I have my desktop set to a solid peachy pink. I did this because I noticed that whatever color the monitor is, reflects a lot into you when you take the shot. And, the closer you are to the monitor the better the lighting.

So yeah I’ve got it down to a science. Hahahah.
