Got home Monday at 9:30 pm from Los Angeles. Who would of thought a four drive would turn into nine? And I left at 12:30! I swear it was bumper to bumper the whole way home....and mom jinxed it. Today was good. Got out of the house and walked over to the record store...which also had me looking looking at the tiny grocery market, and a place that sells clothes. Got three tapes for ten bucks at the record store. Two of Vikki Carr and one of Sonora Santanera. And I found cds of a band I didn't think I'd find.....but I'll save that for later ( Read more... )

you're reading Letters of H.L. Mencken. Hmm...interesting stuff in here. I should be glad dad forgot to take it with him when mother and him split for the second time.
