Janet was hunting through her closet for anything possible that she could make into a costume for the party at Caritas. Given that most of her wardrobe consisted of jeans and t-shirts, it wasn't going well.

Parker, on her way over to Jarod's with her trenchcoat on over her costume, pasued at Janet's door and knocked. "Jaaaanet. You in there?"

Janet pulled open the door. "Hey," she said, holding it open for Parker. "Surprisingly enough, I'm here. How's it going?"

"Amazingly well. Party lined up, cake bought, presents bought, and, well--" She opened the trenchcoat, and grinned. "Costume ready. Are you going?"

"Wow, nice costume," said Janet approvingly. "Is that Jarod's birthday present? And I'll be there, at least for a little while. If I can find the costume I could swear I have."
