I'm just growing annoyed by the squee surrounding it

I love Buffy a lot, but I get tired of it being held up as a golden standard for TV. I think if I hadn't already watched it, I'd be realllly turned off to ever watching it as this point.

It's really sad because I'm sure it's good and enjoyable, but yes, the way fandom goes on about it is a turn-off.
