*lol* I was installing a lamp in the hall, something I normally have full control of, and was fiddling with the cords to get them connected, you know, attaching the lamp to the cord. I had measured up the cord long enough to be nailed to the ceiling and was ready to cut it. Out of nowhere there was this fantastic POFF right in my face. Just like ( Read more... )

Yes, I'd like to see your rubber covered thongs.

In the U.S. we'd say "...were very surprised to see the TV go out" or something like that.
