*pimps* I have the Entire Show Thus Far on my hard drive and a whole stack of blank CD-Rs, plus invitations to a torrenting site where S3 can be downloaded. If you'd rather go legal, there are reruns of S1/S2 on TV -- SciFi is rerunning S2 in its daytime rotation and PBS stations are rerunning S1 (the broadcaster nearest where you normally live is 4 episodes into the season.) Alternately, S1 is out as an R1 DVD set. You might be able to rent it at Blockbuster or something.
New Who's a hell of a lot of fun. You don't have to be an obsessive Old Skool fan to really get into it. Plus, it has David Tennant. Hurrah.
Can Torchwood Two really be said to have a "head of"? I thought T'wood Two was just one really strange guy in Glasgow.
I don't suppose it's out of the realm of possibility that Saxon is tied to T'wood Two. He's obviously been standing for election to replace Tony Blair Harriet Jones, which means he's a sitting MP in the UK Parliament, and I don't suppose it'd be out of the realm of possibility for him to be the MP for one of the Glaswegian wards. Someone who actually lives in the UK is welcome to correct me on this as I may be talking out of my ass, though. I never have been quite able to figure out the parliamentary system.
All of this, of course, ignores the fact that Doctor Who has No Base In Reality. Real World Conditions May Not Apply.
It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Mister Saxon anagrams to Master No. Six. Throwing Harold into the mix gums up the works though and I'm not enough of a fangirl to know whether this would actually be Master No. Six or not. Also, Saxon on its own is a piss-poor anagram for "Axons" so who the hell knows.
I'm not trying to get too far ahead of the game. Heroes has taught me that there's a lot of fun in the OMGWHAT factor.
