And I'm going to be in Canada this weekend and have NO idea if Space is airing new Who or not up there. Either way, I'm probably going to torrent it once I get back.
NEW CRAZY THEORY: What if AMY was a clone the ENTIRE TIME and didn't know it and the reason she keeps having visions of Eye-Patch Lady is because REAL Amy is being held captive by her and Clone Amy and Real Amy are, like, slightly psychically linked. So, Real Amy is pregnant, but Clone Amy isn't and the TARDIS is scanning both of them, so schroedenpregnant.
Ah, Hell. Let's just have clones for everyone. They can do a two-for-one sale at the acid mine. Every last drop of flesh must go.
Also, how in the Hell do you mine acid? Oh, that's right. YOU DON'T. Acid is a biproduct of ore mining. I feel like the writer heard the phrase "Acid Mine Drainage" and got the completely wrong idea.

Checked the schedule -- appears Space is sitting a week out with BBCA. I've been double-checking the Radio Times though and Doctor Who is still set to air on Saturday like normal. I guess there are advantages to being cheap and lazy.

And there is definitely More Than Meets The Eye to this factory because they were doing

WTF? Where did this comment go the first time around? I hate it when LJ is stupid.
I don't really think we've seen anything that contradicts it, other than wondering how the Silence got at 22nd-century technology from 20th-century Earth.
Stolen from the Sontarans, perhaps? That's all I got. It all seemed very Sontaran-ish, anyway. Right down to the acid suits the miners were wearing.
I'm off in Canada next weekend and I have no idea if Space is airing the new ep or not, so I'll be torrenting when I get back.
But anyway, I say there should totally be CLONES OF EVERYONE. There was a sale.
And at some point, I made the comment that maybe Amy has been a clone all season, and clone is sort of psychically linked to real Amy and that is why she is schrodenpregnant and having eye patch lady visions.
ALSO, YOU DON'T MINE ACID. Acid is a chemical biproduct! IT DOES NOT COME FROM THE EARTH. I don't know why I am okay with Bad!TV!Physics, but Bad!TV!Chemistry annoys the crap out of me.
