The weather is insane isn't it? for mid to late May it is really cool!!! I'm usually in shorts and tee-shirts now too and I'm having to keep out my sweats! Yet so many people refuse to accept that Global Warming is real. Uh huh. *laughs*

Yeah and LJ has gone batshit. I like the new interface, but it would have been nice to have received a headsup that they were doing a complete redesign, don't you think?
I've read that they're trying to compete with WordPress, But WordPress is like #2 after TypePad or Blogger, and LJ is #25 or something like that in popularity. What they need know is a major marketing campaign if they expect to lure people here. Good luck with that I say...
