Recurring Dreams

Dania posted about a sad dream she had last night, and it made me think of a dream I used to have on a regular basis, as achild.  I think that it started when I was about 5 or 6 and stopped happening when I was around 12.... here it is: 
  In my dream, it was nighttime and someone broke into our house and kidnapped me, and they kept threatening me

That's a terrible dream to have, even one time, let alone many times!! Thanks for sharing that. I'm glad that you stopped having that dream.

I had something similar happen to me! I would have the same dream throughout the years of my being about 5 or 6 until I was like 12 or 13. Every time I would have the dream it would go just a little further. I would be coming home from a birthday party riding my bike. It was dark outside and this black van would follow me. Eventually it got to the point that a man would get out of the van and try put his hand over my mouth so I couldn't scream. Even as a young child, I always thought that I would eventually finish the dream where the man would do something and I would wind up dead and that is when I would die in my sleep. Crazy. I haven't had the dream anymore.
