I've got something of a dilema. With the move imminent I've begun thinking about the things I'll need to replace (bed, washer, dryer, ect) then suddenly it occurred to me- the toaster is Cody's. My roommate and I have the Hello Kitty one. I vote neither. Even if you love having cute things on your toast . . . it leaves half of the bread untoasted and you have to put it on a dark setting for the picture to show up well so its like eating half burnt bread . . . . . . at least with the cat . . . I ended up using my old toaster now. Even if the damn cat has a bagel setting, its seriously kidding itself. <33

I too have the HK toaster and I'm not unhappy with it. It's a powerful little sucker. The "2" setting is about as high as you can go without charcoaling your bread and no, Kitty-chan does not show up well at that setting. I suspect the other novelty toasters have similar issues. :(

On the upside, she's quite well put together and you can put bagels in her. :)
