Well, there's a quandry for ya. Recently trailers for The Last Air Bender have been appearing on Xbox Live and TV. The boyfriend has been mentioning that he thinks "[he'd] like to go see it." Now, being an active lurker round the internets that I am, I've heard the squawking and screaming from true Avatar fans. I'm not sure I wanna get anywhere

Netflix free trial to the rescue?

The only bad thing I've ever heard about Netflix is sometimes the disks are too scratched up to play because of all the rough handling they receive, but in the same breath I was told they'll send a replacement DVD if you tell them.

I would look into I Love Video, we go there at least once a week and we have netflixs. They have a huge anime area and will call and see if another store has what you need. Plus if you go on tuesday its free beer night!
