the shareef don't like it...

The times, they are a'changin. As am I! After being politically unaware/apathetic, I am now sinking my teeth in something tough. A friend mentioned Ralph Nader in an aim conversation and I scoffed, knowing he's been in the running forever and never gets in. I looked him up online and found I agree with so much of his ideals! I bought a book by him ( Read more... )

Here's why people don't vote for Nader: he'll never get enough of the vote to be anything other than a wasted vote or, if you extrapolate that theory over the past two presidential elections, an actual vote for the GOP.

I agree with what Nader has to say too! But I'd probably not vote for him unless the major party candidates REALLY sucked. He is a bit strange, and everytime I stick up for him to people, they all think I'm a kook, but I don't care. I don't think I'd vote for him because he doesn't really have a chance of winning, but I do like him!

Yea, that's the hard thing, his ideas always seems to echo that of the Democrat in running as well, or visa versa. That's also the hard thing about standing up for, Obama stands for almost all the same things!

Who knows where my loyalty will flow over the next month but I hope I waste my vote on him. I think he's worth it. :)

I have to say I'm a little bit disturbed by what other commenters have said. Not vote for a candidate because they probably won't win? A wasted vote?

Shouldn't people be voting for the person who will do the right things, not the "lesser of two evils"? If everybody voted for the person who they thought would do best instead of just the people the media tells you are best, the country would be much better off.

Sorry if this sounds bitter, just my two cents. :)

Yea but the thing is Obama and Nader are on the same level about a lot of things. I'm still voting for Ralph though because he's showed his determination to society over the past, like, his lifespan.

So what's going on up there?? Are our politics as overbearingly everywhere up there??

OH! And how the FUCK have you been, mate????? :)
