It's been several hours since the phone call and I am really not dealing. We saw him at Pensic and while Rags looked a little rough around the edges, and his energy was way down, but I never thought we wouldn't see him next Pensic. Now that Rorik and I are retired, we were making plans to finally make the cross country trip and visit

I remember Ragnarr fondly. He was active long before Atlantia was even thought of, a big, genial man with a sense of humour and a powerful sword arm. I was on the receiving end of both on more than one occasion.

It was he that gave my Lady Wife her capital L (that is, made her armigerous) and chartered the University of Atlantia, whose inaugural session was held in Marinus.

May he rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon him.
And may those who called him friend, brother, lover, or any other such, find solace and comfort.

I am just shocked - I believe they introduced me to you and your family at Pennsic XXX. I had just moved here from AnTir and I was still meeting people.

He and Bergdis were always warm and welcoming with me.

He will be missed.
