not really. it's uncomfortable at first while you get used to the new sensations. . . and your nipples will be sore. as will your boobs when the milk comes in and you are all engorged (but warm showers help a lot).

also, the first few days were uncomfortable because nursing releases hormones that makes your uterus contract back into it's pre-preggo size and shape. . .

nothing that makes nursing not totally worth it. go here adopt_a_mom and breastfeeding the moms there rock and give fabulous advice - they have faced and been through some hard core problems with nursing and have great experience.

What an exciting story! So glad that everything worked out good. Those Doctors are fast when they make a decision like that! Good thing! Congratulations...everyone here in Lemoore is excited to meet our little Piper!
