Bei Bei started off a little down this morning, but when I called both cats for breakfast (a can of food for breakfast, not our usual process), he came in and ate quite well. And when I came home from lunch he was snoozing, but woke up and then played a LOT more like normal. He and Mei Mei are having some treats right now, after a complicated game

My neighbour had a similar situation recently and her cat has been decidedly traumatized since it happened. Like Bei Bei he loves outside and now he's not so sure. He still wants to go out and we take him out but he's obviously anxious and jumps at every loud noise and they've noticed that even indoors he's slightly down.

So I'm glad Bei Bei has bounced back as quickly as he has. Give him scritches from me please.

He's tons better tonight, and....asking to go outside, which I'm not letting him do yet. Good grief, I was as traumatized as he was -- no way.
