"Now look here, Doctor, I don't care what the laws on this planet are, I am not wearing that!" Rose snapped, glaring at the slightly annoyed Time Lord.

"Rose, you have to. Otherwise we're going to get lynched. You see? Even I'm going to wear one!"

"Doesn't matter. Now either you find some way of getting us back to the TARDIS or you're going to find yourself facing your next life sooner than expected!"

The Doctor scowled and muttered something about open mindedness as he headed off to find their somewhat unkind hosts.

Rose glared at the lurid purple and green outfit next to the door and shuddered. There was no way was she putting that on.

Not long after, the Doctor stumbled back into the room having been shoved inside by a very inconsiderate guard.

His companion looked up and raised an eyebrow. "Well?"

"They said no. We're both going to have to wear these outfits. Oi, its not my fault!" he exclaimed, ducking the purple clothing as it flew at his head.

"Oh no? Who was the one that landed us here saying that it would be a great way to relax? Who said this planet was a vacation resort with long sandy beaches? I'm not seeing any beaches!"

He sighed. "Rose, I was aiming us for Lantea. I have no idea where this is, buts its definitely not Lantea."

"Another wrong turn then. You're really making a habit of this, aren't you?"

"Oi!"

She rolled her eyes and gingerly picked up the clothing with a sigh. "How long do we have to wear this stuff?"

"An hour or so. Just until the meal is finished."

"Oh fine. Lets get this over with."

"That's the spirit! Remember, Rose, we always need to try and be polite to the people we meet. Even if their customs are different than ours. Thats the first rule of intergalactic travel!"

"Shut it, Time Lord."

He very intelligently did so.

~..~

Rose stumbled into the TARDIS, almost helpless with giggles.

The object of her laughter stalked through the doors, slamming them hard enough to slightly shake the console room. An unpleasant hum rose from the console but the Time Lord ignored it as he started jabbing at the controls.

As soon as they were safely in the vortex he turned to his still snickering companion and fixed her with his best glare, the one that could make Daleks shake in their casings. Much to his disappointment all she did was laugh harder.

He rolled his eyes and sat down on the bench next to the console, only to jump up with a shout when he felt a sharp sting of electricity impact with his rear. Apparently the TARDIS was turning against him too.

Rose's laughter only continued to increase.

He glared between the jumpseat and console, rubbing at his wounded dignity before turning to face his companion. "I don't suppose you've recovered enough to explain what was so humourous about being pelted with Ursian eggs?"

Rose bit back another laugh, carefully looking in any direction but the one he was in. "Well, Doctor, that in itself was rather funny, but it was even better with you in that outfit!" she managed before beginning to giggle again.

He huffed and headed off to his room. He was never going to go back to that planet in any regeneration. It was bad enough they had been forced to eat some of the worst food in the universe, but to be forced to eat and be covered in it while wearing a purple and green-spotted dinosaur costume? That was just to horrible for the last of the Time Lords to think about.
