Oscar Disappointment :/

So last night I broke my long tradition of not following awards shows to watch the Oscars. Just because How to Train Your Dragon and Tangled were nominated. And now I'll be going back to my tradition of ignoring all awards shows because the judges seriously disappointed me :'(

I mean, how can they not see how amazing the animation in both of those

This is precisely why I don't watch or follow awards shows. It's not about who has the best animation, music, acting, special effects, or whatever. It's about who has the most friends in the highest places.

I know Tangled and How to Train Your Dragon are awesome, and that's all I need.

Exactly, but it would have been nice to see them win an award, even though it's meaningless :/

Mainly Toy Story 3. In pretty much every category HTTYD and Tangled were nominated in, TS3 took home the prize. I'm guessing because it's part of a franchise :/
