Wireless keyboard problems

I have an ergonomic wireless keyboard and wouldn't have it any other way (willingly).  However, it seems like it's dying once a year or so.  Does anyone else have similar problems? (and no it's not the batteries)

I think I'm having that problem (besides my typing) with my logitech wireless keyboard (that we use for the laptop)
