So my physics research was published a few days ago. Although I use the term "my" rather loosely--I contributed a few graphs, but it's actually rose_garden's thesis. Though I somehow still managed to get second billing.

Considering that third billing went to a guy who, as far as I can tell, purified the Sunset Yellow, I wouldn't worry too much. I was feeling weird about getting first authorship, myself, considering that Peter actually wrote all the text. But we were the ones in the lab, right?

It's exciting to be published! Except now I can never change my name.
