Oh wow.. I absolutely love your take on every single one of the TSN guys... and you have captured the Sherlock side perfectly.. and absolute genius having Sherlock as a more extreme Mark... "If Sherlock actually stuckaround instead of rushing back to England, Mark might start looking like a really great guy in comparison." and mixed with a measure of angst, anger and a happy ending... am so glad you shared.
Hey, I'm so happy you said that. I always worry that I go overboard with Dustin and that I'm writing some bizarre version of Chris since he got so little screen time. And yaaaay, Sherlock! It's the first time writing him for me and I enjoyed it a lot, so that's great to hear!
Hah, when you said it incepted your dream, I immediately thought "I wonder if there's a TSN/Sherlock/Inception crossover." Down, plot bunny, down!
Their interaction was five times funner than the mystery to write. I want to write a billion horrible fics with socially disastrous Sherlock and socially destructive Mark. I love your reference to it being a cosmic joke, how apt!
*TRAPS PLOT BUNNY AND FEEDS THEM TO THE LIONS* You have to be ruthless with these pests sometimes. :P
Accidental bros, who come together to wonder at the stupidity of the general population, god, why do they have to deal with these small minds at all. Nooo, stop encouraging me and stop being so nice to me. I have too much fun writing the dialogue, so much so that I had to stop and delete after I realized that the fic was turning into a talking fest. God, Dustin and Molly together. Do you know BBC created an official Molly blog? The background has kittens and flowers. Dustin can join forces with her and they can share the blog to gush over Sherlock or John. O_O
I think the standard pining actually suffered during this fic since I was having way too much fun writing Sherlock and John into the TSN world, but I can't regret it!
