Movie time!

My neighbors invited us to see The Golden Compass with them tonight!! I have no idea how they got tickets, because apparently it opens tomorrow, so I guess this is like an advanced screening. Totally awesome! I am so excited!

Oral exam tomorrow... but The Golden Compass totally take priority over studying ;) Wish me luck!

Lucky!! Was it any good? I've been looking up reviews and they're pretty mixed, but I still want to see it (once my exams are done XD).

Well the reviewer in the paper hated it, but I didn't think it was all that bad at all! I really enjoyed myself. I heard other people talking and they all enjoyed it too, that I heard.

Well I have read the book, and so has my mum and so did her friend who invited us... we all enjoyed it fine! I mean obviously, the book is always better, but the movie was still enjoyable. It's just a different medium, so you can't expect the same things from it I guess.
