This is outrageous! I'm actually shaking with rage here...it's legal, because the courts upheld it...but it REALLY shouldn't be. There used to be anti-trust laws to deal with this sort of criminality. Damn do I hate the RIAA

*snarls with rage* oh, HELL no. that has got to be illegal. if you don't already own rights to a fukcing song, then no way should you be allowed to collect royalties for it ~on your own~. that would be like me charging people for the right to view ~your~ blog.
