I have been having a great time hanging with the folks, shopping and whatnot. I have encountered a DISASTER with haircolor that I will have to get professionally corrected sometime in the next week. Honestly, I really did like your hair when I saw you yesterday. As soon as I said it I could tell by your tone that you did not appreciate the comment. Sorry.

My comment wasn't based on your tone, just my generally feeling about my hair. I have an appointment on Saturday to fix it. I'm sorry if you felt I was being rude; I really didn't mean to be. I felt bad that I was holding you up from your meeting. My parents are here until Saturday morning. I miss you and can't wait to see you next week!
