I would call "Luck of Location" a major factor as opposed to a minor one. There are probably a lot of places in the country where there is no KFC, but a Church's. Not that I've ever even heard of Church's. But yeah.

given that it was more for my petty amusement, I figured Id leave it a minor factor. besides, of people I talked to, not nearly as many said that KFC was out of the way as said they preffered the church's name or that KFC was a part of the evil empire.
