Although there was some initial difficulty getting to JAFAX this time, I had a really great time. It's hard to imagine not having a good time there. Everybody is so nice (even the crazy women that a certain friend seems to collect in that state) and it's clean and the weather is always good. Doug and I shared an apartment this time and it was a lot of fun. A LOT of people came this year and the event was spread out over multiple buildings. I'm glad that I was still in the same place I've been for the last many years. My programming was good and mostly stayed on topic. It was great to see Katherine, Chris, Jon, Dusti, and, of course, the usual anime camp crew - Bruce, Mundee, Hans, Bob Emily, James, Amy, Dave, and all the great folks who male the event happen, both past and present. Huge thanks and bashes with Hulk Hands to
drakered for his loans of cooking gear and for taking us to places where we could stock up on things that duel and enhance our foolishness. It was nice to be able to cook and great to have a space to work and jam in. Getting multiple mile walks every day helped me a lot.
