Thanksgiving

To those of you who celebrate it, Happy Thanksgiving!

- The various keepers of my mind over the years. No training wheels for the latter half of the year! Scary? Sometimes. Crazy? Sometimes. Out of Control? Nope.

- Lamictal

- the opportunity to speak at Metro State, Colorado University Boulder (at a Behavioral Neuroscience class), UCD, and here and there throughout the country about GLBT issues in a non-confrontational, educational way and been so well received everywhere.

- The opportunity to finish and release a great album - Voices for Tolerance. It is my great honor to work with and share the stage with such amazingly talented and dedicated people and to help people through it. Working on the Voices For projects has changed my life.

- Jon and Dale for putting up with my endless questions, mad schemes, ridiculous demands, whining, nagging, and utter lack of talent and skill with anything dealing with music. You've taught me so much and I don't completely suck anymore, which is a testament to your teaching abilities. :)

- All the cons who invited me and those who continue to invite me to join in their festivities. Getting to talk to so many people, meet new folks and to visit with my extensive Floating World family is the best part of my life. It's a great thing to get to travel so much, especially to amazing places.

- The US Government for paying my tuition and fees through grants. It's made it possible for me to go to school.

- The people who let me stay in their homes and share their lives for a little while - Katherine & Chris, Jon/Dale/Dave/Mel, Bruce, Mundee & Hans, Erika & Damien, and to Estevan O. who pulled my butt out of the fire (staying in the airport overnight) and hooked me up with a cheap room.

- My TomTom. I make the occasional wrong turn or miss an exit but NEVER get lost anymore, which is a small miracle in itself. My road rage factor has dropped quite a bit.

- The American People have chosen not to fall into darkness further. In a couple of places we are treading water, but overall Magic 8 Ball says, "Outlook good." The Democrats have a lot of power now, which is not necessarily a good thing. It's time to clean Congress and the House up now.

- I am very thankful to all of you who read this and who read/listen to my mad ramblings. I want to be more honest in here but I don't want it to reflect badly on Voices For. "Oh Jan is full of love and tolerance and the first thing that comes up when they Google me is Diceland
(Forget the live action Dragonball Movie - they should make Diceland: the Motion Picture. If it was made for like $500,000 then it would be perfect but if it was slated to be the next Hollywood Blockbuster it would be more like:
Queen of Diceland (Angelina Jolie): *dying noises* *falls to knees* Finally, your betrayal is known! Destroyer!
Destroyer (Jet Li) *coming out of shadows, dice glowing menacingly* Yes, my Queen.
Queen: Destroy it! *lava engulfing castle* Destroy Diceland! *huge disaster scenes.
*planet explodes*)

Since I know you will be bored of eating later on, here is a Poll
