The only thing I was able to work on last year was art. I need to try and focus on the health/diet this year. It looks like you have everything sorted out~ Also, I know it was years ago and you were sick at the time, but thank you for sitting down with me about my art.
Packing is one of those things that I do really well, but would never have stopped to think about it as one of those "things I'm good at" if you hadn't mentioned having trouble and made me think about it. For me, it's a matter of packing wardrobe items that are all designed to more or less play well together, so I get the happy fun illusion of choice when dressing myself without having to pack an entire unwieldy wardrobe to do it. I can usually do a week's worth of packing with toiletries and books and everything in a medium backpack or satchel if it's summer. All those lightweight t-shirts and the like really don't weigh much or take up much space if you fold or roll them carefully.
I also have a little tacklebox for all my jewelry (my favorite type of clothing) that has sections that can be pulled out. One of those sections fits in my luggage easily and makes me feel a million times better about traveling, since it gives me tons of fun choices for jewelry without having to worry about losing anything.
Interesting about the "being forgotten at airports" thing. I think that's reprehensible. Do not forget to include that in your guest contract/negotiations if and when they bring it up. A good GR team would heed your wishes/demand.
