(no subject)
I'm not very eloquent at the moment and to be honest I’m now a bit nervous... so I'll just list what has just happened...
I looked out of my front room window (it was still light at the time) and saw a large group of people milling about,, they were aged between about 16 or 17 and 30 some were girls of the chav breed and some were your classic hoodie thugs the older ones were more of your Mitchel brothers type.
They were all hanging around a gap in the houses opposite, in the road and around my car, some of them were even leaning on it (my pet peeve is people leaning on cars that are not their own). I could hear them talking but not what they were saying and they seemed to be in 2 groups the older ones vs. the younger ones.
So I went upstairs to the front bedroom to watch them with the lights off behind the nets so that they wouldn’t see me. It was at this point that my senses must have left me and anger took over a bit. You see this is my house! My street is my home! Its a quiet respectable community I live in and I WILL NOT ALLOW STUPID F***ING YOBS TO SPOIL IT!!!!!!
So I opened the curtains so that they could see that they were being watched and stood there and stared. I was just contemplating shouting out of the window "OI! YOU LOT! F**K OFF OUT OF MY STREET" when a taxi screeched to a hult outside my house, 2 blokes got out brandishing iron bars and raced off down the ginnal behind the houses opposite. Right that’s it! I'm not having this!! So I called the police! They were here in minutes bless um, drove past the house a couple of times, pulled up out side and the 2 cutest policemen I've ever seen got out and came to my door. I told them all that had happened and they strode off!
Now it was at this point that a man (I think he may well have been in the original group) approached the policemen and they all run off together. So I run upstairs and opened the window so I could hear what was going on, a couple of mins later the police came back with a kid by the scruff and a baseball bat reading him his rights! They opened up the van threw him in and drove off!
Fantastic! Strike one for the community and law abiding citisens! The only problem is that they probably saw me! And they may well have seen the police at my door. Oops! Oh well these kids are probably too stupid to figure things out and if there’s any problems…. Well you’ve heard me scream!.
The sweetest thing is though, my neighbour popped round (having missed the gang but seen the police) to see if everything was ok. Nice.
