I watched Zodiac last night with my parents and finished by myself because they had to go back to our house (I was pet-watching in Clarksburg...a nowhere town on the border of MoCo and Frederick County. Hook before or after Roger Rabbit? I've heard Hoskins' name bandied around a lot to play Horace Slughorn in the next Potter movie. Eh ... not so much. Then again, I can't really picture anyone in that role. When I was reading I kind of pictured an older Michael McShane with a handlebar moustache. But since it'll need to be a Brit ... I'm kind of lost.

Also,
Suburban Commando. Don't discount Christopher Lloyd's ability to make the WORST possible career choices. Didn't you just watch Anastasia? :)

PS - I loved
Zodiac too. I want to read the book but it's buried at the moment.

I remember liking Michael Caine for SOMETHING in the last book, but I don't recall what. I just think there needs to be some Caine in the Potter Cycle somewhere. Oh...as Dumbledore's brother (or "bruvah"). Maybe because Gambon always felt like Caine without as much natural edge. I dunno. I guess I just figure that if you're ending the whole movie cycle, might as well go out with a bang. It'd be a nice role for Caine, I think. But i see that some donkey named Jim McManus stole the role from Caine ( ... )
